The club's been kinda dead lately as both Aki and I have been pretty busy -- me with school and Aki with her internship. As for me, even in my spare time (when it isn't studying or hanging out with my friends), I've been concentrating on making icons and working on other things, so I haven't really been focused on the club, let alone Crescendo, my La Corda fansite. I DO plan on updating it soon and as a little treat, I've included something with the next update -- besides a new layout. Be on the lookout for that~! :3

For people who've added the club to their watchlist, but haven't sent us a note, you aren't officially part of the club. Please send the notes asap, so one of us can add ya in. I'm not really in the mood, nor have the time to go on a wild goose chase for you people, so please, please~ just send us the note asap!

Below, I have some info on the most recent MAJOR release news for the series. I haven't included CDs and other things as they're waaay~~ too many CDs to recall and such...

In La Corda Release News~~:
The La Corda D'Oro 2 -encore- game has been released in Japan on September 20th. The basic plot of it is that it takes place about a month or so after La Corda 2 and Akihiko Kira (he's introduced in the 2nd game; is the head director of Seiso Gakuen) has asked Kahoko to become the Concert Mistress in the city's orchestra.

And to get there, she'll have to get through several tests that'll prove her ability. Of course, she won't be going through it alone as all of the boys help her out through the game.

A special feature of -encore- is that if you've played the 2nd game and have gotten one of the character endings, you can activate it, so to speak and then you can start out as lover with whatever character you ended with in the 2nd game. ^^

There are a few versions of the game that have been released:
Regular/Normal - includes only encore
Premium Box - encore and Seiso Gakuin Photo Album Encore + Music Collection
Super Premium Box - includes encore, Seiso Gakuin Photo Album + Music Collection, Seiso Gakuin Photo Album Encore + Music Collection, and "Super" Ballpen
Twin Box - includes Corda 2 and encore

I'm not sure if all first editions of each version will include it, but the first edition of the game will also include a special box cover (similar to the one from Corda 2).
NOTE: This game can ONLY be played on a Japanese/Asian PS2 or a modded U.S. PS2. It's also a Japan-only release, so if you don't live in Japan and you're interested in purchasing this game, try going to sites like Play-Asia or Yesasia.

The 9th and final La Corda anime DVD comes out on September 26th. It includes the last two episodes of the anime (episodes 24 + 25), a summer special called "One Summer's Encore" (translated from hito no natsu encoru), and musicvideo clips for each of the boys and feature pics of them as well as their character song. If you're lucky enough to get the first edition of the DVD, it includes a simulation calendar.
NOTE: It can ONLY be viewed on a Region 2 DVD player (or Japanese PS2, if you have one) or a Region-free DVD player. Like encore, it's also a Japan-only release, so if you don't live in Japan and you're interested in purchasing this game, try going to sites like Play-Asia or Yesasia.

The next Japanese manga volume, which is #9, comes out on October 5th. On the cover, it features Len~~~!! (with his violin as well) <3333333 Anyways~ if you're lucky enough to have a bookstore that carries imported manga, then you can get it there. If not... you'll have to either go to Japan or buy it online.

The next U.S. manga volume, which is #5, comes out on October 2nd. The cover features Keiichi and Shoko and hm... can't think of much else to say. Like the Japanese manga, it can be purchased in a bookstore (if it carries it), in Japan itself, or online.

Okay, we'll have another contest soon, which I hope more members can join in In other news, I'm adding a new journal section which is namely: Suggestions/Opinions where all members can express their suggestions for the club for the admin to consider and general concerns will be answered there too~ I hope the journal proves useful for all! ^^ More updates soon!

EDIT: Oh dear, I forgot to mention: We're looking for those who would donate contest prizes, for example: drawing chibis and things like that. (We're not asking to donate subscriptions, so don't worry) Forgive me for spamming inboxes with the same journal entry!

- Your name (unless you want it to be your DA username)
- Your favorite character(s) is/are

2) Add the club to your DA watchlist so then you can get updates as to contests and things like that.

3) Add the club icon to your journal or put a link in your siggy

Description: Whee~ our first contest~! ^^ Okay, we decided on having our first contest be one that'll be decide on our club's ID pic, which will make our club look so~ much more spiffy.
Types of that can be used: Any media's accepted
Characters that can be featured: Any character or characters.
Who can enter?: Anyone who's a member of the club can enter, as well as me and Aki (though we're not voting)
Deadline: N/A; date pending (originally was May 31, 2007)
Prizes:
Grand Prize:
- Their entry will be featured as our club's ID
(I don't know if it's gonna be a permanent one, but Aki and I will figure that out...)
- A collab pic done by and

2nd Place:
- A drawing done by


Details about the pics (which will be of the winner's choosing) will be explained more once the winners are chosen. Things like what we can/won't/can't draw, the media we can/won't/can't use, etc. will be explained to its full detail by then.


IMPORTANT NOTE: For anyone who wants to participate, please keep these points in mind (could change, depending on contest):

When submitting an entry, don't upload the pic onto DA, rather upload it to another server (ie. photobucket, imageshack) and just send a note with the link. This is so everyone doesn't know who submitted what entry.

If you tend to sign your pics (not the sig in the corner, but watermarking the whole~ thing), please don't for this one, as this'll also be the copy we'll be posting if you win. After the voting's over, you can post your pic on DA and watermark it or whatever you want, so we can link it to that as we'll be posting the entries on the 'Contest' once the contest is over.

You can submit a max of 2 entries.

You're allowed to look at official pics as a reference (that's a given), but your entry (or entries) MUST be drawn by you. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please keep all entries to a PG rating at most. PG-13's kinda pushing it as the winning entry will be our club's ID.
